Our Mission
The community of nomadic people living in buses is bigger than ever before. The #vanlife is all over social networks. But today’s social networks don’t support this kind of lifestyle. It’s hard to keep track when you are on the road and it’s even harder to find like-minded people around you.
busnomads is our answer to this problem. We want to provide a platform to connect all people on the road. There is no fancy timeline, no feeds and no hashtags - busnomads is built around the foundation of nomadic people: location.
We respect your privacy
Todays social networks lack privacy. They collect as much data as possible to sell it to third parties. busnomads is build around the idea to use as little private data as possible. To access busnomads you just need to provide a valid e-mail address.
Location Data
To connect with other nomads you have to use GPS and share your location. But don’t worry we only store your latest location on our servers. This way we can show your current position to every nomad around you. At any time you can delete your latest position from our database and switch off GPS to hide yourself from other nomads around you.
Personal Data
Shape your own profile. You just have to provide a username which is displayed to other nomads. All additional information is optional. If you don’t want to be part of our busnomads network anymore you can simply delete your account. This way all your data is purged from our servers.
